The Argon 7240 is a two-way bass-reflex design with a 1' soft dome-tweeter and two 5,5' bass/midrange drivers using a strong yet light woven material. The tweeter uses a very powerful neodymium-magnet and the strong bass/midrange drivers keep the music clear and undistorted, even when you turn up the volume.
Two well-dimensioned bass reflex ports are situated on the rear of the speaker. If your speaker placement gives too much boom in the bass performance, which can happen if the speaker is placed close to a wall, the bass can be reduced by using the dampening material included in the box.
The elegant curved cabinet is made from MDF and is made with strong reinforcements inside. The sandwich-construction of the front, contributes to the reduction of unwanted vibrations. The front grill is held in place by small magnet, enabling you to easily protect your speakers from accidental damage.
The gold-plated loudspeaker terminals support bi-wiring and provides the optimum connection for your loudspeaker cable, for years to come.
