The solid floor model costs less then a lot of other manufacturer’s cheapest compact models, still you get a large quality speaker, that gives you incredibly good sound at a small price. You can place it almost anywhere in the room, you don’t have to pay extra for stands, and the speaker automatically is in the correct listening height. At the same time you can play both louder and deeper than with the smaller models.

Deep bass and less distortion
Argon 6240 is a three way-construction, where the three units manage each there part of the frequency range. You will therefore get a better repetition of the critical midrange, making it clearer and with less distortion. Which is normal for floor speakers, you will also get a deeper bass and more ”physical” sound compared to cabinet and stand models. If you seriously want to massage the middle section, then there is nothing wrong in adding a solid subwoofer, for example. Argons own Sub 12.
