DAB3 gives you exactly the same functions as the smaller DAB2, but with two built in speakers you can enjoy the benefits of stereo without connecting the radio to your system. The larger cabinet and speakers give you a lovely and full bodied sound, and you can still connect your iPod to the rear and let the whole family listen to your portable music collection. The cabinets are made of real wood finish in black, white or cherry.

DAB3 is ready to deliver you music, news, sport and culture 24 hours a day. You will get clear noiseless DAB-radio, FM for local radio stations and alarm/timer for the bedroom or kitchen. The cabinet is of real wood, and with the option of choosing natural wood or painted finish you can in a refined manner combine high-tech and retro. The built in telescope antenna is in most cases sufficient to receive the full potential of the DAB-channels. But if not then you can dismount the telescope antenna and connect a stronger stationary antenna instead.
On the front you will find the clear and elegant OLED-display, the necessary buttons and two reflex tuned full tone speakers, which give you a wonderful and full bodied sound stage in stereo. DAB3 is also supplied with a line input, so you can quickly connect an external source for example your iPod to the radio. You only need a simple mini jack cable to get your music out in the room. Using the same method you can also connect DAB3 to your stationary system and enjoy DAB-radio in large format.
On the DAB3 you will only find the buttons that you need for daily purposes, making the radio extremely easy to operate. Press auto-tune, and all the available DAB-stations will quickly be stored. On the DAB-band you will find the stations by name instead of frequencies, which most people never remember– a great relief when using daily. Both on DAB and FM you can code in your favorite channels (presets), so they are always easy to find. And with RDS/RadioText you can also after installing see the names of the FM-stations, if they support this function.
Do you want to fall asleep and wake up with your favorite music or latest news? No problem –you can very easily set the DAB3 to wake you either with a radio or alarm signal, and the display can be dimmed, so it doesn’t light up your bedroom when it’s dark. You can also use the alarm in the kitchen, so you know when to get the turkey out of the oven. You can easily read the time on the clear display, which can also be adjusted to show other forms of information: program, title/artist of the actual music number etc.
