5452 Banana Plug If you haven't got a lot of space behind your amplifier or your speakers, the Argon 5452 may be the answer. Since the cable is mounted from the side, it doesnt take up a lot of space behind your equipment. This may also prove a great advantage on the more powerful cable types.
The gold plating gives the plug a very exclusive look, and at the same time prevents corrosion from ruining the conductivity of the plugs over time. The cable is fitted by twisting the end cap, and as an extra feature a small metal weight sits between the cap and the cable. This enables you to tighten the plug to the cable with out the twisting motion of the end cap cutting the delicate copper conductors of the cable.
Please note: To prevent accidents European law states that all amplifiers, receivers and loudspeakers must from the factory be fitted small plastic caps in the speaker cable terminals. These can normally be easily removed with a small screwdriver of another pointy object. Please consult your dealer prior to removing these plugs if you have any questions.
