5451 Banana Plug Banana plugs are a great tool for mounting your speaker cable in an amplifier or a loudspeaker. The plug gives a good contact, and the cables can be easily moved, it you need to move your equipment around. The Argon 5451 plug is a low cost solution, which through its brilliant design still maintains a very high technical standard.
The gold plating gives the plug a very exclusive look, and at the same time prevents corrosion from ruining the conductivity of the plugs over time. The plugs are fitted with a protective plastic cover that reduces the risk of accidentally short circuiting the amplifier for example by dropping a metal item on the plugs.
The cable is easily fitted by mounting two small screws, and the plug accepts almost all types cables.
Please note: To prevent accidents European law states that all amplifiers, receivers and loudspeakers must from the factory be fitted small plastic caps in the speaker cable terminals. These can normally be easily removed with a small screwdriver of another pointy object. Please consult your dealer prior to removing these plugs if you have any questions.
